Located only 13 miles from our RV resort, Zion National Park is a scenic spectacle of narrow canyons, enormous sandstone monoliths and forested plateaus. The most popular section of the park, Zion Canyon, is full of trails appropriate for all ages and ability levels. Easy trails ideal for the entire family are Weeping Rock, Riverside Walk, and Emerald Pools. Adventurous hikers will enjoy Angels Landing, Observation Point and the Zion Narrows, which National Geographic ranks fifth on its list of “100 Best Adventures.” The Narrows hike traverses a canyon that is only 15 feet wide in some places and requires hikers to trudge through the Virgin River much of the way. Local outfitters offer shuttle service and equipment rental for the hike. If you are a hiker, you will love staying close to the park at the crown jewel of Zion National Park RV parks, Zion River Resort.
